Adapter cables are cables which feature two different connections and allow users to connect two devices which feature differing connection standards.

The Lindy USB Type C to HDMI 4K60 Adapter Cable with HDR allows users to easily add external video capabilities to a computer featuring the USB Type C port with additional support for DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The HDMI connector of the adapter cable can be directly connected to the HDMI display with the 10m cable allowing for additional flexibility when positioning the HDMI display – perfect for a simple and adaptable installation. The cable combines a sleek yet functional design with superior performance to provide a reliable 4K connection over distances not possible with standard cables. An active chipset, housed neatly in the centre of the cable, allows active cables to amplify HDMI signals effectively creating much longer HDMI transmissions without the need for additional repeaters or extenders.

With support for resolutions up to 4096×2160@60Hz and with additional support for High Dynamic Range, 4K content can be viewed with crystal clear clarity, enhanced contrast and more lifelike colour. These cables are great for creating eye-catching retail displays, innovative working environments or immersive video playback in sports bars and home cinema installations. Support for uncompressed multi-channel audio allows for an impressive three-dimensional surround sound performance to compliment detailed, clear video.
